- A little out of the town of Annecy, France. It can take ten minutes into town, use a GPS, the streets are convoluted. The Kyriad is a quant place. The rooms are on the small side but are very comfortable, the staff are simply wonderful and the food very reasonably priced. There is a supermarket and a petrol station across the street. We found the place to be ideal for the budget conscious.

When this was pointed out to the Receptionist, her reaction was to panic. blame her colleagues, and say that little could be done about it. The issue was eventually resolved but this was to be the tone of our stay. Most of the staff seem to be devoid of a 'can do' attitude. The room itself was extremely basic, required renovation and thorough cleaning. The sloping ceilings on the second floor make the standing room fairly limited, especially for 3 people. Communal areas similarly needed to be attended to. Considering the price (120 Euros per night) , you would expect a higher standard of accommodation and service. In addition, there is no lift., making the unloading and loading of luggage difficult. The restaurant was also closed for 2 days of our stay because of the 15 August 'bank holiday'. And pity about the building site next door! On a more positive note, the breakfast was adequate and there was ample parking.

We've been there during the (italian) holiday period of the 25th of April! Just a bit decentralised, but very comfortable if you travel by car! There's also a supermarket only 50m far! The staff is very kind and rooms are really comfortable! 126€ for two nights in a double room are not that much! Highly suggested!

There are no restaurants etc at walking distance to the hotel, so you need to dine in the hotel's restaurant, which we did not, so we had to find a super market which again was hefty taxi ride to and fro. The rooms are great for the money we paid with good size bathroom and good wifi. The Air Con was lousy though, but weather was on our side so not complaining.

Par ailleurs vous nous voyez désolé de l’éloignement du centre historique d’Annecy qui se situe à environ 4 km. En effet la voiture reste le moyen le plus rapide pour s’y rendre. Notre personnel reste tout dévoué pour vous aider à trouver le meilleurs moyens pour vous rendre en ville si d’aventure vous étiez sans véhicule.
