In our modern hotel, every effort is made to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Our hotel is a 10 minute walk from Place de la Comédie and the historic center of Montpellier.
It's an ideal starting point from which to visit the historic center, the Fabre Museum, or the zoo. The Odysséum play zone (with aquarium, ice rink and multiplex cinema), the Palais des Congrès convention center, the Corum, the Zénith and the Arena Theater are easily accessible from our hotel. You can enjoy many concerts, shows and sporting events in the area.
Take time to discover the Camargue, the beaches of the Languedoc coast, the Cévennes… but also the back country of Montpellier and Pic Saint-Loup with its wine estates, and of course the medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and the gorges of Hérault. - I managed to book this hotel via EasyJet Holidays. My flight was supposed to land at 2130 but was delayed by 1 hour and because of this , I was not sure if I was going to make the 11pm shuttle bus to the Place de l'europe. If I had missed the shuttle bus it would have meant me getting a taxi which would have cost me 15 to 20 euros or more. Fortunately I managed to get the shuttle with 10 minutes to spare paying only 1.6 euro. It was about a 5 minute walk from the Place de l'europe to the hotel ( google maps was a great help ).
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by the hotel receptionist who was very pleasant . He informed me that my original booking was a twin bed but could give me a double room if I wanted. Naturally I agreed to the double room.I was also impressed by the layout and interior of the hotel. I asked the receptionist for directions to the train station because the following day I was going to make my way to Capao Beach in Agde. He was very helpful and showed me on the map where to get the tram to the train station.
My room number was 203 and had absolutely no complaints whatsoever with the room. Nice clean bathroom, firm bed and just the right size room. Not too big and not to small. The room was also air conditioned which was much needed being at the height of summer with temperatures of 33c during the day and 24c to 26c during the night.
Breakfast was adequate and again no complaints. The staff were very pleasant.
I caught the tram from the Leon Blum stop to the Montpelier train station the following morning. If one is not in a hurry, you could walk it in about 15 minutes.
I could go on about what I did in Montpellier, Agde and Pavalas les Flots but the review is about the hotel, suffice to say that my 3 nights in Montpellier will be something that I will never forget.
Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Montpellier

- The hotel is just round the corner from the Leon Blum tram stop, so very easy to reach from the railway station, and a short tram ride to Place de la Comédie or a 20 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe gardens and aquaduct. The old town is also easily accessible on foot, where there are many excellent restuarants.
The hotel is without character but very functional, the rooms are quite small, but well equiped and the staff are very helpful, organising a taxi for us to get out to Montpellier Sud Station. The hotel is located in Antigone a few blocks from the old town..easy to reach by walking down the main walkway through Antigone and up escalators in a shopping center to the old town. We loved the old town of Montpellier...do not miss it.
