While our hotel might seem to be intended for business people due to its location near the business districts and the northern end of Rouen (la Bretèque and la Vatine business districts), its location near downtown, the train station and highway A28 also make it a great place to stay for anyone who is coming to visit the Normandy coast. Renovated in 2009 to offer all the modern amenities to our guests (Canal+ and CanalSat channels or free Wi-Fi) in our spacious rooms with our large beds and en-suite bathrooms, you will be charmed by the quality of our hospitality.

Take advantage of our free parking lot and leave your car while you go discover the cultural heritage of the City of a Hundred Spires and its museums and many historic monuments, including the magnificent Cathédrale de Rouen or Place Jeanne d’Arc. We stayed here on the way to and from Brittany. It's in a great location, near a large supermarket and several restaurants, with very easy motorway access. However, the rooms were dusty with grubby bedding and although the bathrooms were clean, they smelled damp and musty. Housekeeping needs more care and attention, but otherwise a good hotel.

This hotel has changed ownership and not really for the better. Apart from the chef there was only one other member of staff on, she had to book people in...

This hotel has changed ownership and not really for the better.
Apart from the chef there was only one other member of staff on, she had to book people in and serve meals and drinks. So the service was rather poor.
The hotel does not have air conditioning so it was quite hot in the room and the temperature was cooler than it had been.
The hotel it's self is in a good position if you want to be in a quiet area, it is also close to a supermarket and also close to the motorway for Calais

Pros: clean, affordable and next to shopping center. Nice staff

Cons:
- Hot rooms with no circulation. Even opening the window and having a fan (my own- hotel did not supply) blowing in all night did not cool it down enough.
- Hotel uses some sort of really cheap pee cover for the bed that does not breath at all and makes you sweat instantly (most hotels have these, but then put a mattress pad on top so they are not so hot).
- No blackout blinds. Room is bright as day as long as /soon as the sun is up.
- Room is so small that there is no place to open luggage.

Would absolutely not stay here again.

Great location. Beside Carrefour shopping centre and an easy drive to explore Rouen without being in the craziness of the city. Very friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. Only problem is there is not a lot of restaurants open on a Monday night in the immediate area.
